Ryan Marter

Graphic Designer

My interest in graphic design began at Birmingham City University, where I studied architecture at the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design. During those three years, I developed essential skills in layout, colour theory, and typography. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree, I freelanced as a graphic designer while seeking a full-time role in architecture. Although I secured a position at a structural company in Worcester, I soon realized my true passion lay in graphic design. This led me to freelance on the side and ultimately launch my own design agency.

I enjoy creating clever designs, particularly in logo and UI work, and have collaborated with both small and established businesses. Working with clients is fulfilling, and I take great satisfaction in seeing their businesses thrive!

Outside of design, I enjoy listening to music and gaming. In my spare time, I dabble in music production and have a keen interest in 3D illustration.

Ryan designed a logo for my apparel brand "Do Work That Matters". I had worked with other designers for awhile to find a logo that I liked, but was unsuccessful. Ryan was able to create exactly what I was looking for, a strong, graphic symbol using some of the initials W&M or a mirrored W, depending on how you view it.
