Tani - The Urban Mermaid Project

Our friend Jerry Williams from Viral Change came to us asking for our help to design an Album Cover for his musician friend Tani. She was in the early stages of releasing a new EP, called “The Urban Mermaid Project” and really wanted a freehand illustration for the cover. She wanted us to incorporate imagery related to the sea.

We were provided with a photograph of Tani, which we then recreated in a line art style, with long locks of flowing hair, interwoven with sea horses, shells and starfish…So much hair! The final result looked great! We completed two additional versions with watercolour highlights in the colours of the sea. Be sure to stay updated with Tani here.
