Our previous client, Matt Wyld from Wyld Web Development, was designing a website for his neighbour who was setting up a garden furniture business; Just In Timber Land. Matt got in contact with us and wanted to know if we could help out with the Logo. The Logo would be cast in metal as a plaque, and screwed onto the wooden furniture, so it couldn’t be too overly detailed.
They wanted the Logo to have an earthly feel, using shades of greens and browns. We got to work designing Logos which represented timber, joinery, saws and trees. They were interested in the cut timber ideas, as the tree grain really stood out to them. Matt suggested displayed the name in a banner, using a traditional styled font. We then did some further drafts exploring a range of colour schemes.
